Analyst - Deduction

SUMMARY: Clarisonic is seeking a motivated Deduction Analyst in our Redmond Corporate Office. This position is responsible for the accurate and timely verification, reconciliation, and application of customer deductions/payments. The position is also responsible for developing, building, and maintaining strong collaborative relationships with our retail partners.

REPORTING: Reports to the Senior Manager, Accounting

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Reviews and processes deductions in accordance with deduction management guidelines and signed retail customer agreements
  • Researches claims for validity
  • Disputes and collects repayment on invalid deductions
  • Communicates and follows-up with all affected parties, including the retail customer service, retail sales, and credit and collection departments
  • Recognizes and implements new policies to resolve ongoing issues in the business that result in deductions
  • Focuses on process improvements that will benefit internal and external customers
  • Engages in retail customer-specific process reviews
  • Prepares reports, scorecards and KPI’s as required
  • Assists Finance department with month-end reporting requirements
  • Compiles Retail Co-op adjustments/deductions for budgeting purposes

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Advanced knowledge of Excel, including pivot tables
  • Intermediate knowledge of Word, Outlook
  • Ability to perform analysis; deductive reasoning skills are required

Director – Digital Marketing, DMI

SUMMARY: The Director - Digital Marketing, DMI (International) will serve as the liaison between the US Digital Marketing team and the International Digital Marketing teams to ensure adherence to brand standards and implementation of best practices worldwide across all digital marketing efforts.

REPORTING: Reports to the AVP – Business Development, DMI and indirectly to the AVP – Digital Marketing, US.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide strategic guidelines for creating B2C “touch points” that reach the target when and where they are most receptive to category messaging
  • Articulate key insights to develop global communications blueprint and media mix
  • Partner with in-country Digital Marketing team to education digital brand message and guidelines; develop communications strategies aligning with the category’s P2P, creative content and media briefs
  • Ensure in-country digital teams have the assets needed for launch of Clarisonic websites, as well as on-going marketing and promotional support.
  • Develop a significant working knowledge of relevant back-end support systems by country to help ensure that front-end assets will work with systems in place.
  • Meet with in-country teams on a regular basis to share digital best practices for Clarisonic and consult on opportunities for continuing improvement of performance in all areas of digital marketing (site, social media, search, advertising, direct/email marketing).
  • On a consistent basis, share promotional calendars, social media strategy, email marketing plans, and associated results with in-country digital teams in inform their marketing planning and ensure a base level of worldwide consistency.
  • Develop strong working relationships with both International and US teams across functions – Marketing, Digital Marketing, IT, DMI, Legal, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher required, MBA is a plus.
  • 5-7 years of digital marketing experience with focus on consumer products. Experience working with international teams a must.
  • Experience in the Beauty or Luxury Products category also preferred. Brand management and/or digital marketing agency experience a plus.

Director – Ecommerce & Digital Marketing

SUMMARY: The Director of Ecommerce and Digital Marketing is responsible for leading, managing and driving the direct to consumer channel at Clarisonic for the US market. Responsibilities include owning the customer experience on the ecommerce site, driving the marketing and promotional calendar and leading certain acquisition marketing tactics for the channel.

REPORTING: To the AVP – Ecommerce and Digital Marketing

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead the overall marketing and promo calendar for the US D2C channel that drives overall brand initiatives for the market. This includes developing communications plans that support new product launch campaigns, growing core product sales including device penetration, and supporting desired mix of business.
  • Lead the customer experience on the ecommerce channel that supports our promotional and brand marketing calendar activities.
  • Own the product roadmap of the ecommerce site including features, functionality, UI/UX and design
  • Own key traffic and sales acquisition tactics including paid search, SEO, affiliate marketing, digital advertising and similar tactics
  • Build the strategy for site merchandising and personalization, and manage the internal and external resources to execute against the strategy
  • Manage key vendors including design agencies, paid media agencies, merchandisers, and other key internal and external partners
  • Partner with key stakeholders on developing the social media strategy and plan for the brand, as well as help to execute key portions of the plan
  • Manage day-to-day creative development process and execution of promotions on online, e-mail and social platforms.
  • Plan and manage sales forecast for the channel. Understand Mix of Business (MOB) and how to drive marketing plans that ladder up to the desired MOB
  • Travel as necessary to represent the ecommerce group internally and externally at L’Oreal.

Brand Development:

  • Contribute to Clarisonic total on-line/e-commerce strategy in partnership with the digital brand marketing and CRM team
  • Develop impactful and consumer friendly launch plans in partnership with Brand Marketing and other channels. Help to drive the digital portion of our omni-channel go-to-market strategy and planning.
  • Elevate the Clarisonic brand experience on all .com sites to maximize consumer education and increase sell-thru
  • Partner with Brand Marketing to ensure successful implementation of product strategy
  • Ensure brand guidelines and standards are upheld and promoted in all e-commerce locations

Promotional Planning:

  • Develop, manage, and optimize online marketing programs in partnership with digital marketing colleagues and Brand Marketing to create meaningful promotional programs for the online consumer
  • Provide analysis and insight to manage the success of marketing programs and evaluate new opportunities to maximize growth.

Financial Management:

  • Own key portions of the digital P&L. Manage expenses and drive increasing ROI on marketing dollars.
  • Partner with Finance to ensure accurate and approved budget reconciliation
  • Report any budget issues with recommendations for resolutions

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum required experience – 5 -7 years in digital marketing or ecommerce
  • Strongly prefer 5-7 years consumer products marketing and/or retail marketing
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field; MBA a plus
  • Relevant experience in the Beauty Category and a strong desire to engage the Beauty Consumer

Electrical Engineer – Manufacturing Support

SUMMARY: The Electrical Engineer 1 works under the direction of Senior Electrical Engineers, on product design, component engineering and testing.   • Perform product and process characterizations, qualifications, and validations
  • Troubleshoot digital and analog circuits in products as well as test and automation equipment
