Director - Brand Marketing

Implement marketing plans for the U.S. market by working closely with VP, Marketing to execute and evaluate product launches and promotional marketing programs. Plan, develop and implement special events. Responsible for market sourcing for promotional plan ideas.

Electrical Engineer – Manufacturing Support

SUMMARY: The Electrical Engineer 1 works under the direction of Senior Electrical Engineers, on product design, component engineering and testing. Principle goals are to apply system engineering techniques to evaluate product requirements, develop test and programming methods, and design test equipment to support high volume manufacturing. This manufacturing engineering position will be responsible for all aspects of electrical engineering within the operations group. This includes product design and improvement, test and programming of the product, test equipment, automation and equipment support as well as overall electrical performance of the product. The Electrical Engineer I may represent manufacturing engineering on new product teams.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Take ownership to improve and control electrical performance of Clarisonic products
  • Develop and maintain test methods, test equipment and test firmware
  • Perform product and process characterizations, qualifications, and validations
  • Troubleshoot digital and analog circuits in products as well as test and automation equipment
  • Analyze circuit performance and perform de-rating and tolerance analysis
  • Support manufacturing with knowledge of PWB and CCA manufacturing processes
  • Assist with component selection
  • Contribute to new product development teams
  • Work with Quality Assurance department to ensure electronic subcontractors meet specifications
  • Circuit Board design using Altium Designer for schematic entry and layout, Solidworks Circuit works, and Blueprint PCB documentation software

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
  • Basic knowledge of systems engineering and testing methodology

Field Sales Vice President - Retail

Patent Attorney, In-house

LOCATION: Redmond, WA, USA

Handling of IP matters (e.g. patent drafting) regarding inventions made overseas can be also part of the function. Lab training for IP matters and on site counsel for IP matters.

  • Patentability analysis; patent drafting; infringement analysis; technical and legal assistance for IP clauses in development contracts and/or due diligence activities

FUNCTIONAL AND TECHNICAL SKILLS

QUALIFICATIONS:

LEVEL AND INDUSTRY TRAINING (in order of priority according to the skills required)

  • Qualified US Patent Attorney: Member of a state bar, admitted to practice before the USPTO. Experience in IP litigation. Knowledge of international procedures.
  • Technical graduation in electronics and/or mechanics

LANGUAGES (Specify the operational level required)

  • French is a plus but not mandatory

EXPERIENCE

  • At least 7-10 years prior experience in IP, either in IP law firm or in house IP department.
