AVP– Marketing, DMI

SUMMARY: The AVP of Marketing within the International Marketing team is responsible for the development and execution of global product launches and supporting marketing programs. This position collaborates directly with local markets while interfacing with industry thought leaders, sales, operations, R&D, US marketing, creative, and technical packaging to accomplish global brand objectives.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for new product development:
    • Create new product concepts and lab briefs
    • Interact with creative and market research agencies to develop concept designs
    • Ensure timetables are met to meet launch deadlines
    • Develop launch support strategies
    • Lead product packaging and launch communication process (start to finish)
    • Review packaging profiles for accuracy, advise changes, and review COGS
    • Perform value analysis studies to optimize the cost of goods approach
    • Develop global forecasts for launch items
    • Coordinate focus groups and market research for new products and markets
  • Interface with key geographic markets to determine the range of values that drive the industry and better understand the impact of market trends and activity on relevant brand issues
    • Collaborate with cross-functional team in development of brand strategies for new product introductions, promotions, communications and inventory management
    • Two to four new product launches per year
    • Quarterly product/business-building promotions customized by market (US, EU, Asia, etc)
    • Occasional product reformulations or upgrades
    • Professional and retail channel development and support activities including merchandising, promotion, marketing communication, and training
    • Packaging and collateral updates and additions
  • Lead projects from initial concept to implementation, and coordinate the teamwork between the participating departments
    • Develop project timelines and budgets
    • Target primary audiences and develop key messaging
    • Work with key vendors and departments to ensure accurate execution of programs
    • Follow up on campaigns and launches, and provide Senior Management team with regular quantitative and qualitative reports

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor degree in Marketing or related field required, MBA a plus
  • 3 – 5 years marketing management required — ideal candidate should have relevant experience in skincare, professionally dispensed products, and/or international brand marketing. Pharmaceutical or medical marketing experience considered.
  • Good understanding of design and printing process is a plus
  • Excellent communication and writing skills a must
  • Dynamic, and proactive personality with the ability to perform impactful presentations

Clinical Research Coordinator

LOCATION: Redmond, WA, USA

SUMMARY: The Clinical Research Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating internal clinical studies involving but not limited to subject recruitment, database management, protocol development, study setup, and study closure.

REPORTING: Reports to the Director of Clinical Research.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work in partnership with the clinical staff to help plan and set-up internal studies
  • Prepare study protocols and Clinical Readiness Review Reports
  • Maintain a clinical database (ARCS) for subject recruitment and update as needed
  • Schedule subjects for study visits using the ARCS database
  • Set up Case Report Forms (CRFs) for study execution
  • Responsible for subject recruitment and telephone screening
  • Manage monthly credit card transactions for the Clinical Department
  • Order clinical supplies/study material
  • Maintain database that tracks progress of internal clinical studies
  • Upload final reports into an internal report database
  • Manage updates of subject’s health histories

Electrical Engineer – Manufacturing Support

SUMMARY: The Electrical Engineer 1 works under the direction of Senior Electrical Engineers, on product design, component engineering and testing. Principle goals are to apply system engineering techniques to evaluate product requirements, develop test and programming methods, and design test equipment to support high volume manufacturing. This manufacturing engineering position will be responsible for all aspects of electrical engineering within the operations group. This includes product design and improvement, test and programming of the product, test equipment, automation and equipment support as well as overall electrical performance of the product. The Electrical Engineer I may represent manufacturing engineering on new product teams.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Take ownership to improve and control electrical performance of Clarisonic products
  • Develop and maintain test methods, test equipment and test firmware
  • Perform product and process characterizations, qualifications, and validations
  • Troubleshoot digital and analog circuits in products as well as test and automation equipment
  • Analyze circuit performance and perform de-rating and tolerance analysis
  • Support manufacturing with knowledge of PWB and CCA manufacturing processes
  • Assist with component selection
  • Contribute to new product development teams
  • Work with Quality Assurance department to ensure electronic subcontractors meet specifications
  • Circuit Board design using Altium Designer for schematic entry and layout, Solidworks Circuit works, and Blueprint PCB documentation software

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Performs receiving inspections
  • Monitors corrective actions for material or process deficiencies.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school education, some college or formal technical training preferred
  • 4+ years Quality Assurance or Quality Control experience.
  • Knowledge of material inspection methodology and equipment(Calipers/Micrometers)
