ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage multiple functions within SAP, including but not limited to: inventory/warehouse management, demand planning and management - sales & operations, procurement, release strategies, service management and logistical execution.
  • Provide thorough diagnostics of current state of the operations functions and perform analysis of improvement potential and evaluation of requirements to achieve greater efficiencies.
  • Investigate proposed enhancements, write functional specifications, coordinate design efforts, develop configuration, test configuration, and manage external functional/technical support.
  • Responsible for ensuring that recommendations are implemented and structured to promote long term viability.
  • Deliver results that enable growth, productivity, or cash flow improvements while ensuring customer satisfaction and achievement of overall company goals and objectives.
  • Develop necessary metrics to regularly gauge the health of the supply chain not only in the cost arena but also customer satisfaction area.
  • Work collaboratively with all functional areas to ensure revenue/cost/profit objectives are achieved.
  • Collaborate with all functional components to ensure, when feasible, common processes/solutions are enacted and that these resources are aligned with the objectives of the overall company.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor Degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Five years of experience within the logistics and/or operations area, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • The ideal candidate will have a minimum of seven years' experience with a combination of procurement, materials management, or IT positions and have a working knowledge of Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP), Material Requirements Planning (MRP), Production Planning(PP), Inventory Management(IM), Logistical Execution(LES), Project Systems(PS), Kanban, Cycle Counting, WIP, Mobile Technologies and Bar Coding/RFID technologies.
  • Working knowledge and history developing solutions within SAP.
  • Knowledgeable in supply chain processes native to SAP R/3 (i.e., MM, SD, PP, PM).
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), MS Access, MS Project, and MS Outlook.
  • APICS Certified Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) certification preferred.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Directly or indirectly supervise up to ten employees.
  • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
  • Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
