About Clarisonic Brush Heads

Clarisonic Brush Heads are expertly engineered for a specific skin type or skin concern, and are optimally designed to work at the precise frequency of our devices. Made with super-soft, quick-drying DuPont® Tynex® Supersoft Filament, each bristle is uniquely rounded on the end or specifically texturized to provide a gentle and comfortable cleanse.

We cannot guarantee the efficacy, durability, or long term impact on the device itself, of brush heads not engineered by Clarisonic.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Great product As I can no longer find the 'normal' brush head at my local stores I had to purchase online. Received a discount and product arrived promptly. I'm pleased. July 20, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Just as good as usual Makes my skin feel cleaner than just using soap and water. I really can feel a difference when I don't use it. I only use my Clarisonic at night because I have found it was too harsh on my skin using it twice daily (morning and night). April 29, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by An absoulte must have for oily/combo skin... I've been using the Mia 2 and Normal Brush Heads for over a year now and can say that this product truly delivers. My enlarged pores are a thing of the past now. I’m glad I spent the money, very well worth it. February 22, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Awesome Product!! I have been using the brush heads for several years and love them. I mostly use "normal" brush heads. February 9, 2016

Answer this Question

A:
I would use it gently around the under the eye (perhaps closer to the cheek bone and not too close to the eye area since the skin under the eyes is very sensitive and could damage the skin) and definitely not on the eye lids. I usually use the eye make-up remover to clean the eye area first and then use the facial cleanser with Clarisonic on the rest of the face.

No, we do not recommend using the Sonic Cleaning units near the eye. Our Opal is safe to use near the eye but please look at the user guide to verify where the Safe Zone is.

I guess you could, but I don't. I use Cetaphil with my brush and clean my eyelids with just Cetaphil and my hands.

A:
Only the center moves on mine. I assume the outer bristles are stationery to keep the unit from "spraying" cleanser all over.

Hi, Thanks for your question, The center of the brush is what moves, the outer layer of bristles remain still. Hope this helps.

Any anti-bacterial soap will do the trick. Hand soap is just fine. Make sure to rinse the unit with warm water.

How to Clean Your Clarisonic Brush Heads

Using Your Clarisonic Sonic Cleansing Brush

What is Sonic Cleansing?

A Cleansing Breakthrough
Cleansing is the essential first step in a healthy skin care ritual. The patented Clarisonic Sonic Cleansing Brush uses a sonic frequency of more than 300 movements per second to deeply cleanse the skin far more effectively, yet more gently, than traditional superficial cleansing or simple rotating brushes. The result is noticeably smoother, more radiant skin.

Clarisonic Cleansing by the Numbers   Full Studies

6X   More makeup than manual cleansing   90%   Report more radiant, glowing skin

300   Movements per
second
  84%   Report softer skin

61%   Greater absorption of Vitamin C after use   2X   Daily use is proven safe and gentle

How to Replace Your Brush Head

For best results, replace your brush head every 3 months.

  • To remove the brush head:
    1) Grip the brush head firmly, then push and twist it counter-clockwise.
    2) Pull the brush head away from the handle.
  • To attach the brush head:
Push down and twist the head clockwise until it snaps into place.

Tip: Use the brush head cap to easily remove and attach the brush head with a simple twist.

Clarisonic makes a variety of interchangeable brush heads, uniquely designed and engineered for specific skin types or conditions. Visit our Brush Head Comparison Chart for more information.
