How to Replace Your Brush Head

For best results, replace your brush head every 3 months.

  • To remove the brush head:
    1) Grip the brush head firmly, then push and twist it counter-clockwise.
    2) Pull the brush head away from the handle.
  • To attach the brush head:
Push down and twist the head clockwise until it snaps into place.

Tip: Use the brush head cap to easily remove and attach the brush head with a simple twist.

Clarisonic makes a variety of interchangeable brush heads, uniquely designed and engineered for specific skin types or conditions. Visit our Brush Head Comparison Chart for more information.

I know someone asked this a while ago, but what are the realistic chances of coming out with a body brush for the mia? I have used the normal brush on my arms and feet, yet haven't noticed that much of a difference (I do have very dry skin). Any recommendations?

Hi- unless I'm mistaken, the body brush works fine on the mia- i have one and use it all the time. It is not as jiggly as the facial brush heads though. my impression is that the brush heads all work for various clairsonic models.

I also have a Mia. I use an exfoliating scrub with my body brush, which makes my arms really smooth. I also use it on the bottom of my feet, which is really dry. Hope this helps!

After I use the body brush on my dry skin, I follow up with a deep moisturizing lotion or light oil. This is important since the brush has open up the pores and the skin is massage and ready to be hydrated. It works wonders for my dry skin.

Use a body scrub once a week. Dove makes a great body soap with moisturizer beads and effoliation. Your skin will feel soft and rejuvinated. Using soap daily isn't good for your skin. This may help.

Try exfoliating your skin, then apply moisturizer to your skin. I have the same issue. I found a product that blows away any creams/lotions you can find. If you have a CVS/Pharmacy (or you can look online) the brand "Lierac" came out with an oil called Sensorielle, it consists of many precious oils that really soften the skin.

The Body brush I have is older and I also don't see and big results, I'd like to see a more exfoliant & moisterizing cleansing product forthe elbows. backs of arms and feet and a very slight stiffer scrub head. I think these are problem areas for many women.

The mia has only one speed, therfore I would invest in the pro in conjunction with refining skin polisher for smoother skin.

A:
The body brush is more intense. It's made for the body to exfoliate. The regular brush head is mainly for your face. Also the Mia is a travel size, it's made for your face. I would try some hydrating body balm. I used to work for Bliss Spa, they have amazing lotions.

I am just guessing here but probably its a good guess. The Mia is not as fast/strong as te other models. This is the base model, something to get your toes wet with to see if you would like to upgrade to the better models. I know as soon as I finish college & get a job, I will be upgrading and I love my Mia!

Melissa, I have the Mia and have successfully used the body brush head on it. The head size is the same for all of the Clarisonic products. The only difference I've found between the Mia and the Clarisonic Plus (which my friend has), is that the Mia will shut off after a minute (where the Plus does not), even w/ the body brush head on it. I know this now, and just turn it back on to continue my cleansing when it shuts off. Haven't had any problems or issues with it yet and have been doing this for close to a year now. Get you one of the regular body brush heads and give it a try! You won't be disappointed! Hope this helps!

Mia is basically for those who need a little gentler cleaning routine. Mia can be used with any scrub so depending if you use on the face or the body, try using a stronger scrub for the body and you will be satisfied.

A:
HI,
The mia does not currently have a body brush it was originally intended for travel and to take on the go so they have not made other attachments yet. If you are looking for a little more exfoliation when using the normal brush head on the body, try using a scrub such as our refining skin polish with it. Hope this helps.

The sensitive skin head that comes with the Mia would be my suggestion. I, personally, use Origins skin products; so I just use my normal 'Checks & Balances' cleanser with my Mia (it's a natural skin care line & the 'Checks & Balances' is made for combination skin).

A:
I think it will work wonders on your chin Dawn, but if you haven't purchased your Clarisonic yet, try not to over-aggrevate your skin when you first use yours and definitely don't use it on your eyes or lids. It's one of those "toys" that tempts you to use longer than necessary, so that's something I really had to reign in!

A:
Yes, the brush helps by getting deeper into your pores. Your pores have dirt and oil buildup. The Mia is for exfoliating and the Pro will help with your breakouts. Use it with your daily routine and you will see refreshed skin.

I also was having small whiteheads on my chin and around my nose. Now, GONE. I simply haven't had any more breakouts. I use it every night with my cleanser. In the morning I just wash my face regularly. I know it's kind of expensive but I'm not sorry I bought one. If you have a place you go to for facials, they might sell one for a little less $.

I want to say the speed is based on comfort. When I was using the delicate brush, I went with a higher speed. When I switched to the normal speed, I switched back to a lower one.

A:
Yes, for that deep clean, use the faster speed. It will help effoliate the skin at a deeper level and help your pores and prevent breakouts.

A:
I keep my Clarisonic at a speed that feels appropriate for older, dryer skin and neither increase nor decrease the speed. I would expect the higher speeds to exfoliate the skin more rapidly.

A:
From my understanding of the product is, you can change speeds depending on skin types.
4 years, 7 months ago
by
Jackfree

A:
HI,
All of our speeds move at 300 movements a second and clean the skin just as well. The brush head will determine how aggressive you are with your cleansing experience. The Speed will make the brush go faster or slower. The normal mode oscillates back and forth at 10 degrees, the high speed oscillates farther back and forth. They will all clean well, it’s just what works best for you and your skin.

Hope this helps

A:
I would use it gently around the under the eye (perhaps closer to the cheek bone and not too close to the eye area since the skin under the eyes is very sensitive and could damage the skin) and definitely not on the eye lids. I usually use the eye make-up remover to clean the eye area first and then use the facial cleanser with Clarisonic on the rest of the face.

Rated 5 out of 5 by It smells great yet it still fights dandruff. Blue Bus is a great periwinkle blue, gravity is a dark based purple with small rainbow glimmers, hijack is a beautiful darker aqua color and crystal (which I think is my favorite) is a lighter aqua sparkle (very small pieces of sparkle) that is great below the lower lash line.\nOverall I think this palette is worth a purchase, the eyeliner and primer potion are high quality as always, and even though I won't use the mascara since I prefer volumizing formulas, it still seems to apply smoothly and clump free with the brush.\nThe media portion of the kit is nice and I enjoyed the videos, although I do not find it necessary and would prefer a lower price without the extra stuff and a smaller profile for easier storage and portability.I HATE cream eyeshadow. It always creases and gets all chunky, but not this one. Rated 5 out of 5 by GREAT! But overall I love this stuff and will continue to repurchase!I am SO happy that I bought this palette! These colors are gorgeous and I have been using this everyday since I received it in the mail.I love that there is a good selection of both neutral colors and playful colors.Completely worth the price. What can I say about this palette that has not already been said? It is simply amazing. This was my first Urban Decay product and I was not disappointed. After I bought this I became obsessed with UD's palettes.I use the Naked Palette nearly every single day, and my favorite colors are virgin, naked, buck and hustle.
