Rated 3.9 out of 5 by 26 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great for acne prone skin Great product - helps minimize my acne breakouts . May 18, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Believe the Hype! I have always wanted a Clarisonic device and finally received this collection as a gift. I have struggled with acne for most of my life, and have tried MANY different products over the years, with little to no improvement in my skin. I have now been using the Acne Clarifying Collection for only 3 days, and am overwhelmed with the changes I have seen! Blemishes are already starting to disappear, the oil on my skin is starting to get under control, and I've noticed a significant improvement in my skin's texture. Other products I use on my skin, such as oil-free moisturizers, are being absorbed much better, and not just sitting on my skin's surface. Also, my skin has honestly never felt cleaner. My only regret is not purchasing one sooner!!! May 16, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Only thing I regret... ...is not getting one sooner! I love this little magical machine! I feel like my skin (esp around my chin) was always so rough and no matter how much I would scrub (with exfoliating scrubs, washcloths, etc) I could NEVER get it smooth enough...unless I scrubbed half my face off! Ouch! I've been using my clarisonic for over a month now and in one minute, I have super smooth, clean skin! I will never look back! January 29, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Miracle! This face duo works wonders! It evens out your skin texture while gently getting all the toxins out of your pores. This does not irritate acne or make it worse by any means. It certainly prevented/s and controlled/s breakouts! It clears ALL your makeup and leave your skin refreshed not tight or malnourished. Would suggest every person own a Clarisonic. July 10, 2014

I realise that the acne clarifying collection comes with the acne head, the face wash and the body with the green button, however, is the body with a green button just a different coloured mia 2 to match the head or is it a separate body that does different pulses etc.

Will the head still work exactly the same as it would on the body it comes with in the collection as on a normal Mia/mia 2? As I'm from the UK and we don't have Mia 2's or the acne collections, just the normal mia. :-(

I believe it is just a different collected Mia 2. The brush head is the important part. It is more sensitive on your skin. The Mia 2 acne system does not do a different pulse than the normal Mia 2.

That's your pores unclogging and detoxing the impurities. A facial is nice and pampering but it will just do the same thing.

You can use your own.

I wrote to a couple of people about this already but if your acne products are not working I would look into getting a glycolic cream or pads. They are very inexpensive and do wonders for most acne.

If your routine is working- keep using your products :)

I use my regular clearasil (I love it for some reason) then use glycolic pads, then Hope in a Jar from Philosophy.

Every 3 days I skip the glycolic and use Retin A (prescribed form of Retinol)

I also do a mask maybe once a week.

I love this brush because usually I would have to go back and use a toner and see all that make up still on my face!

Good luck :)

You can use any cleanser. I use Origins Foaming Face Wash, It's organic with no harmful chemicals. I wouldn't recommend cleansers with exfoliant beads as it might irritate your skin.

I just purchased the Acne Clarifying Collection brush, and i'm wondering if I should use a toner after or before I use it? I know I should moisturize after using it, but not sure about the toner. Also, when I get white heads, should I pop them or leave them be and wash my face as normal?

I've popped my whiteheads before and then washed with the Clarisonic. I find this procedure helps to clean the area, there is also less 'drainage' when I've washed after popping, making it easier to apply acne medications post washing.

A:
Yes. Before I used the Clarisonic Acne regimen, I had blackheads and acne but not the big, lumpy, painful kind, but when I started using it, I had those and tiny unsqueezable whiteheads started to show. They say it's normal, give it a month or two.

i bought the original mia system with the normal brush head.. i did not see any results with this.. i switched to the brush head for oily/ large pore skin because my skin is very oily and i have mild acne.. this brush made my skin breakout extremely bad! i emphasize that my acne is so awful that i stopped using the mia and i havent used it for 3 months and my acne is still awful. i saw the new acne brush and i am very skeptical to purchase. i dont know what i should do.. if i should buy this acne one or sensitive one or just continue to not use the clarisonic brush all together.

Hi! It sounds like we have similar skin types and I definitely think you should try the acne brush head. I originally purchased the acne system that included the acne brush head and the cleanser and it works like a dream! In the beginning, I also tried the oily/large pore skin brush and found it too harsh for my skin. The acne brush head is MUCH gentler on my sensitive, acne-prone skin and I am extremely happy with the results. I hope this helps:)

How to Use Your Clarisonic Sonic Cleansing Brush

Prior to the first use, charge the Clarisonic handle for 24 hours.

  • Remove eye makeup by hand.
  • Apply cleanser directly to moistened skin or to a damp brush head.
  • Push the on/off button to turn on your cleansing brush.
  • Select desired speed.
  • Follow T-Timer prompts while gently moving the brush head in small circular motions. We recommend 20 seconds on the forehead, 20 seconds on the nose and chin, and 10 seconds per cheek. Your cleansing brush will automatically shut off after the cleansing cycle.

NOTE: Keep the brush head flush to the skin. Pressing too hard will impede the motion and reduce effectiveness.

See the Clarisonic Mia 2 User Guide for more information.
